A high ceiling mansion block in Chelsea
As the pictures show, the windows are floor to ceiling, add to this the fact they're at street level and that the building is listed and no new windows can be installed.
The client wanted the warmth, security and soundproofing afforded by double glazing, but was unable to install it. We offered the best alternative.
Secondary Glazing
The problem was the size of the units. Not standard size and bigger than a lot of companies are willing to produce.
We set about the challenge of sourcing, producing and installing.
Curtains and Blinds
The client, being on ground level and having spent a fortune on his curtains, was keen for curtain and blind rails to be kept. This is very difficult when they have been added to windows before the secondary glazing units have been installed.
No Problem
We were happy to take down the rails and add wooden splints to take the rails once the secondary glazing was installed.
Invisible Sight Lines
We have taken some of the pictures at angles to indicate the look of the secondary glazing units. However we take great care to ensure that the secondary units are invisable when viewed normally.
This is done by marrying up all the sight lines with the original windows.
Any Shape, Size, Angle 
You may think your windows are too difficult to take secondary glazing, or may even have spoken to companies that have told you such.
We specialise in secondary glazing and in most cases are able to provide you with quality units. We have even in the past installed secondary units for church windows!
Window and Door Chislehurst
We produced and fitted both a double glazed window unit and door for a lovely detatched house in Chilslehurst.
Both the window and door had to match and blend in with the other doors and windows of the property.
Architrave
We always use plaster and wood for our architrave, never, ever plastic.
This ensures the best possible finish for all our installations.
No Mess
And we clean up after ourselves. All rubbish is removed from site.
If the windows and doors didn't look so good, and it wasn't so peaceful and warm indoors, you wouldn't know we'd been there!
